How we read precursors and controls
The method behind every exhibit: what we count, what we verify, and where the evidence stops.
Methods
Placeholder. This page is placeholder copy written to test layout and tone. It is not published research and makes no factual claims.
What we study
The research looks at the conditions that come before serious events: precursors, the state of critical controls, and the indicators leaders use to see both. Definitions for each, with measurement boundaries, will be published here.
Exhibit standards
- Every exhibit is numbered, states its finding in one sentence and carries a unit line and a source line.
- Exhibits that use placeholder values carry an “Illustrative data” badge, and their source line says so.
- Charts include a data table alternative and a text description for screen readers.
Respect for the people involved
We do not publish graphic detail, names or sites without consent. Case material, when we use it, is described at the level of conditions and controls.
Limits
This section will describe what the method cannot tell a reader, and where judgment replaces measurement.
